"Do You Remember the Days When Adventure Was Just Outside Your Door?"
When I was a kid, nature was our endless playground.
My two brothers and I would burst out of the house right after breakfast, eager to discover what the day had in store.
We spent hours playing with insects, building forts, and rallying friends for impromptu games of baseball.
The long days were never long enough for all our adventures.
The excitement of youth and the pure joy of exploring nature filled every moment.
We’d dash back for lunch, wolf it down, and race back outside. Supper was a brief pause before we played until the last light faded.
And on those lazy days, I would start out looking for four-leaf clovers and end up laying in the field daydreaming for hours.
Each painting in this collection tries to reflect these moments— the beauty of nature, the light, and the childlike sense of wonder with the natural world.
I hope they inspire you to reflect on your own cherished memories and bring a sense of calm and joy into your space.
Lazy River
When I was a kid, my two brothers and I loved to go exploring by a creek or a river, looking for any life such as fish, turtles, crabs, water beetles.
Small living things fascinated us.
We always managed to bring something home in a jar much to our mother’s dismay.
Next day we couldn’t wait to go exploring again!
Whispers of the Lake
My father was a good swimmer.
He could do the breaststroke and stay afloat and slowly swim around the lake with me on his back when I was a little girl.
I loved hearing the soft ripples of the water and watching the birds flying overhead. It felt so peaceful.
Sometimes I got scared thinking can he keep this up?
But I realized he just doesn’t know how to sink. Who needs a boat?

Golden Evening
At the peak of autumn, my parents would take us for a drive to take in the beautiful changing colours.
We’d stop along the way to stretch our legs or have a picnic.
My father, who loved to take family photos, would call us over for yet another picture.
Setting up the tripod, checking the light meter, and arranging us just right always seemed to take forever.
Back then, all my brothers and I wanted to do was dive into the piles of leaves!
But now, we treasure those photos so much, each one capturing those golden moments.
A Walk in the Woods
On weekends, my dad would take my brothers and me on walks deep into the woods, where there were no trails.
It felt like we were explorers, and I was sure we would get lost forever.
But somehow, Dad always knew the way back, and we’d make it home just in time for dinner, still buzzing from the thrill of our wild adventure.

Nature's Playground Collection
The Nature's Playground Collection is a set of fine-quality reproductions of four pastel paintings, each capturing peaceful landscapes in an Impressionistic style.
Perfect for any room, these prints feature soft pastels and gentle scenes that will bring warmth, tranquility, and a natural sense of calm into your space.
As children, the outdoor world filled us with awe and excitement.
These artworks are meant to reignite that childlike wonder, reminding you of those simple joys and the magic found in nature’s beauty.
Let them bring back the nostalgia of exploring the outdoors, inviting you to pause, reconnect, and experience the world with the same curiosity and joy we once had.
